Removing Sako 75 recoil pad
« on: July 06, 2008, 01:23:01 PM »
I have looked at it hard and the Sako Grey Wolf recoil pad does not seem to be screwed on !! Seems to be glued on or something.

I am not sure how to remove it.............would you cut it off with a saw.......or is there a better way to go about it !! Obviously I have no idea....... but I do have lots of woodworking tools available !!

Sometimes the simple way works. I too sometimes glue a pad on but usually use dowels in the screw holes to re-inforce the glue bond..
