No it won't. Mine came in last night, front sight on. the barrel is damaged (like it was dropped on concrete). Worse than that, it has the (obviously) wrong recoil pad on it. I'll post pics.
Kevin,
Sorry to hear of all the problems you are having with Remington. Sounds like they are still the worst Customer Service in the Industry. I could write a book on how worthless they were 20 years ago, sounds as if nothing has changed. That is what happens to good Companies when they let the "Bean Counters" run them.
One Long story short. Bought a beautiful Model 1100 Light 20 ga Slugger brand new back in 1988,,,couldn't hit the same 55 gallon drum twice in a row at 50 yards, NO BULL,,,told remington the receiver was too loose (very sloppy) and the barrel could be turned side to side all locked up,,,I think it went back and forth on my dime 5 or 6 times,,,4 different barrels,,,2 different magazine tubes,,,took about a year for all of this,,,still wouldn't shoot worth crap,,,they didn't care,,,it was the crappy tollerence they had on the internal machining of the receiver,,,sold it at a big loss,,,bought an Ithaca Deerslayer,,,haven't dealt with BIG GREEN since,,,they lost a customer for life not because they don't make quality rifles/shotguns, they get it right once in a while, they lost a customer for life because they forgot about their customer.
I truely hope they can get their act together, don't look good for American Gun Companies. Never thought I would own a Mossberg back in my gun snob days, bought a brand new 12 ga Mossberg Model 9200 Slugster Combo about 15 years ago,,,have shot countless deer & turkey with that gun,,,had two small problems over the years which Mossberg Customer Service promptly took care of,,,Mossberg has one of the best Customer Service Departments in the Industry IMO.
