Have we ran up the price ? ? ?
« on: July 09, 2008, 10:40:26 AM »
I can remeber not all that long ago being able to buy H&R shotguns for $20-$35 all day long. Now I find them being sold at their new out of the box price($75-$80) :(.For the longest time I bought them and cut them down to 18 1/2" overall complete with pistol grip, and sold them as fast as I could make them. Since I have been around here I have been lusting after those guns for all the new ideas i have for them.

I'm sure BATFE will be glad to see your confession of illegal activity. The next knock you hear at your door will be their jack booted thugs coming for you for illegally altering a firearm. I'd prefer you confine your discussions of illegal activities to other sites than this one. >:(

Kurt is right, I bought a 20ga Pardner in 1991 at Kmart for $79. Even Walmart wants $100 or more for one now.

With a standard choate pistol grip the barrel needs to be at least 22" to meet the 26" OAL rule.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

I was using the original stock and cutting it so it was not a "pistol grip" but it was at the same time.Like i said before i got the idea from a local gun store that made them.
