hold on to that box. These days some of the crazy ruger collectors will pay more for some of those boxes then they will for the gun

Very nice!  The max is one that keeps eluding me and one I really want.  Keep finding pristine safe queens though and I want a shooter.    those boxes aren't nearly as rare and valued as some early ones but it's nice to see a complete pkg.  now you need it's longer bbled kin - that's the one I want.  :)

One of my many dream guns would be that fine pistol you have there but i would like a new version but basicaly just the accusport look to it or a ruger hunter and without the square back trigger guard. again nice wood. superdown

To Warrior,  Yes I did pay dearly, $595, but at least I have a nice one to keep.  I won't miss the money so much by spending it on a gun as I would if I had wasted it on things like gas or clothes or eating out.

Or worse yet...did the seller make you take his mother-in-law as part of the deal??? :o
Thanks from the Frozen Northwoods!!!

That still amazes me…I don’t care who you are or how much I care about you, I would never let you kill my son.  I can’t even begin to understand how much He loves us.

Apparently that's what they cost.  I paid 600 couple years ago for a similar one.  Outshoots every other Ruger handgun I own.
Vote them all out, EVERY election!

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!
