Cannon spotting...

 My Son and I went for a day cruise on the SS Lane Victory today. I spied this line-throwing gun in the ship's museum. They had another similar one on deck with about a 1/4" thick coating of paint on it, but my camera batteries died before I got a pic.



 Also saw some of the crew, here getting ready to shoot down enemy planes with one of them newfangled cartrige guns...



 Nice ship to see if you get a chance. They do a few cruises out to Catalina Island every year, but it's open daily to just look around...
