Need a reasonably priced 1911 Parts Source

If anyone knows of a good one please let me know. I am in dire need of a 4 1/4 inch barrel for a 1911.

I recently purchased a new 1911 barrel from sportsmans guide for $59.  I puit it in my norinco and its very accurate with a national match barrel bushing.  I just wanted a plinking barrel.

Try sarco,  They have a drop in barrel for around $43.  I have one in the 5" length and it shoots great.  Just look around the net for Roto 4m barrels. Just remember you are Not paying $200. for a match barrel.

Also, you said "4&1/4" bbl - are you getting a new barrel for a Commander length 1911???  The standard length barrel for the 1911 is 5", and they can be had from major suppliers for less than $50.  HTH.  Mikey.

Yep, 4 1/4 , I went ahead and ordered the Roto 4M from Sarco. (I have dealt with them many times before) After exhaustive research they were the cheapest. I don't need a $250.00 plus barrel to connect with a perp at 3-7 yards.

I had a commander years ago and i should of never parted with it.

Just for info;  I purchased the $59  5" 45acp/1911 barrel from sportsmans guide with the Full length guide rod kit(18# recoil spring) $10 along with the full wrap around rubber grips (IAI) $8 and the IAI national match barrel bushing $12 from CDNN.  After such a big investment and some fitting my 1911 now shoots one cloverleaf per mag if i do my part.(wolf ammo)

I know a lot of 1911 owners don't like the full wrap around rubber grips.
