OS ATC2K Bow Camera
« on: July 20, 2008, 12:11:31 AM »
This year I am going to video my bow hunting. I bought an Oregon Scientific ATC2K camera. It is under $100 and with a 2Gb card takes 60 minutes of 640x480 30fps avi video. It also has sound ... if I miss a deer this is probably not a good thing :)

I have mounted it various ways and finally come up with the most acceptable by using 3M Heavy Duty double-sided tape to attach the camera mount to the quiver mount.

Showing camera mount bracket using 3M tape

Showing camera actually mounted

Tests so far shows its not to Spielberg quality but is quite acceptable I believe to bring my hunt to the PC or TV.

I am also going to mount it to my shotgun during gun season and my muzzleloader for muzzleloader season.

Here's the video of my first test using the cam. The cam sound does no justice, it's actually a very, very quiet bow.
