cultivator attachments

Does anyone here use a cultivator attachment on their weedeater? I'd like to know if they work well before buying one. Sure seems like it would make weeding go a lot faster and easier.
Thanks, Mark

Honestly never heard of such a thing until now.  Wife uses one of the mini tillers.  Hers is a Murray with a trimmer engine.  Looks like a standard front tine tiller except very small.  Dad uses a similar one from sears that he likes.  I use the bigger rear tine job and leave the finer work to the wife.  She won't have it any other way.

I was wondering how I could put into words the way I feel about those Magical Tools they show on T.V., and how they actually work when you get one.

I think if you have soil as soft as Cotton, they might work fine.  But if your Ground is even a little hard, using one of those Miracle Workers is more like trying to hold a Tornado on a Stick.  It all depends on how hard you have to work to make the thing work.

Even in my Vegetable Garden, which has taken alot of soil softeners over the years, a Rear Tyne Tiller is the only way to go... unless I want to 'Ride a Bull'.

Well we do have sandy soil around here so  maybe it will work. However I'm still gonna ask some people here and see what they know. Thanks for the input!
