Thinking about 336 customizing
« on: July 26, 2008, 12:06:18 PM »
Does anyone here have any pics of 336's they've customized?  If so, I'd like to see them.  I've got a new 336W I've been thinking about putting laminates on.  E-mailed Gunstocks, Inc. and asked about what they had.  They have them for 185.00 in the charcoal colored ones I'm considering.  Was also giving thought to a scout mount set-up.  Thought I'd see if anyone else had this kind of thing in mind.  Many thanks.

Hi .308,
I own a 336A which came with a hardwood stock from the factory, but hated the look of it, so I installed a walunt stock and forend with a recoil pad. It only made it look better, but to make it function better I installed a Wild West Trigger to get rid of the world famous Marlin trigger slop and to go from a 7lb. pull down to a 2.5lb. pull. The trigger was worth every penny I spent on it.
