Used 20Ga USH

I just picked up a used 20ga USH for $150.
Its in really good shape.  Came with a cheap Scope.  Any Recomendations on what ammo I should try???  I was thinking about putting some Synthetics on it for hunting, I pretty much go rain or shine.  Anyone put a thumb hole stock on one of these?
 
I have been waiting all year for the Ultra Light Slug Hunter but I can't seem to find one anywhere and this thing fell in may lap yesterday.

I've got a .270 Handi wih a Leupold 3x9x40 that I think I'm gonna put on the USH and get a 50mm for the Rifle.

I think depending on what yr it was bought most came with the THole. I have seen the bbl only go for $150 a few times... great buy .I was lucky enough to finally get my 20 ULSH from Walmart .Kurt

I've got an USH on the way and already have 6 boxes of the Hastings Laser Accurate Sabot slugs in my cabinet. These appear to be some dandy units you may consider trying.

Chris they worked very well in mine biggest problem was the mail order I found the Rem buckhammers shot just as well for about the same money but that was last yr. Kurt

Yep Kurt, I can see where that might be a problem.  I found a place that was clearing them out of their stock for $3/ box. Got 10 boxes shipped for $40, but deals like that are rare.
