Why is my string twisting?

I installed a new peep sight. (the type that splits the string and has the hose connector) The strings were split even and no problems for a couple of weeks. Now it is twisting the loop and the peep almost 90degrees towards the bow

Your going to have to take the string off and twist it. I had a peep put on at the pro shop that's what happen to me. Took it back they re twist the string I was good to go.
