How to disassemble model 70 safety

I just acquired a model 70 push feed made about 1972.  The safety on it works, but rattles around loosely instead of moving criply between the 3 position detents.  I suspect a broken spring on the plunger.  The safety lever is held into the bolt sleeve with a blind pin.  I can't see any way to remove it without drilling it out.  Hopefully, it's just me not understaning something.

Can any one tell me how to remove this pin, or if there's something else I'm not seeing that will allow me to disassemble this safety?

AFAIK, the safety shaft can only be removed from the shroud after the entire firing pin/cocking piece assembly is unscrewed from the rear of the bolt body, removed and disassembled, as I believe the cocking piece interlocks with it, to hold it in there.

The bolt has to be stripped and the striker assembly disassembled. The pin (usually a roll pin) can then be driven thru to release the verticle safety shaft. Don't totally remove the pin as theyare a bear to re-install without a roll pin punch set.
