A new 223 Ultra Varmint around here (Indiana) costs $350. I thought it was high and posted it as such. But the responses I got indicated it as a fair price. No one thought of it as unusually high. There were a few that said they bought one cheaper, but no one said it was too high. Gas prices have pushed it up in price 40% in two years. I still think it is unjustifiably high, but I guess that is inflation. I think if you could get it for $300, I would take it.

Bud's has it listed at $324,  that would be a fair price IMO, he sells a comparable 308 Ultra w/o the brake for $270 shipped.
