S&W Model 41 --- Where to Purchase a Second Barrel?
« on: August 04, 2008, 12:00:59 AM »
I have taken my 1970 S&W Model 41 out from the safe for what I hope will be a nice loving relationship with at the range.  My gun from the factory came with the 7 3/8" compensated barrel.  I wonder where I should look to purchase a 5 1/2" barrel from.  I still have not decided if I will purchase a barrel for optics as compared to open sights.  I am aware that S&W is not the only source of these barrels.  Is Jim Clark still an active smith?  Thanks and regards,  JHT

Jim Clark Sr. passed away several years ago, his son Jim Clark Jr. now runs the family business? His daughter Kay is married to the revolver guru Jerry Michalic(sp), she, her husband and her brother all compete in USPSA competition. Yes the business is still going.
