Dove season kicks off in about 3 weeks and many small game, and archery deer seasons open up in about 5 weeks. Hopefully the ruffed grouse actually make a bit of a comeback this year. It was generally quite disappointing year for grouse last year, despite a rosy prediction based on spring drumming counts.
