N.California Handi Sales
« on: August 12, 2008, 08:50:28 AM »
Can any fellow N.California Handiholics tell me if you've seen anything new for sale recently in your area at your local stores?
Thanks. -g

The only store that carries them in my area is out and they had to order my Buffalo Classic.  Pick it up Saturday.   ;D

How N is N?  I haven't seen ANYTHING of note in the Bay Area.  Bums me out, actually.
I'd love to see someplace like Mel Cotton's carry them, but they tend toward mid-range priced stuff.

I didn't even bother looking (I am in the South Bay, between SF and San Jose). Not the kind of thing most shops here seem to carry.

Bought my .22mag Sportster from Buds, got a smokin' deal on a NEF Handi in .30-30 from the Gun Source. Had both sent to Roger's Relics, bing, bang, boom.

Now I am engaged in stock swapping, scope mountin', tuning, and playing!

Thanks for the replys. I'm just gonna dive in and get a 30/30, 444 or a 45/70 shipped from Buds out my way for my first Handi. I'll get my project 357 SB2 later on when there available. I want to start loading and I think from what I read here that a straight walled case is the way to fly. -gary

I just got back from picking up my Buffalo Classic at Canyon Sports in Martinez and I noticed that they have another one up on the rack.

Well, I'll  need to drop into Canyon in Martinez then. The last time I was in there there were no Handi's.  Not sure about there prices on rifles. When I was in 4 months ago they wanted $100 over what Cabala's was asking for there scopes. -g

Get the .45-70 Pigboy, You'll love it.  I live 45 minutes from Buds and I hardly ever go there, And you fellers from way over yonder shop there alot. The internet has sure created an odd world.
