Barrel questions.

I have a 20ga NEF with interchangeable chokes and a plastic stock, I would like to get a 28ga barrel or maybe a 16ga barrel fitted.

Now, with the Remington take over can I expect to get a new barrel fitted? If so what kind of wait should I expect? Should I just wait untill hunting season is over?

If it's a gun you need to have for this yr personally I'd wait ...there is just to much up in the air with little good info coming from remmington on how fast things can be expected mostly sounds like they are just trying to keep the peace with guys who have stuff there and are waiting for it's return.
