What part of the country you in?
Don't look like the bobcats in TN. Markings and body shape are different than I see around here.

I've seen some really tall lanky ones like that here in FL.

Looks like it made a 19 day  circuit (as per the picture dates) but I would have guessed 23 based on the Bobcat and it's habits.
If you keep that camera rolling, you may get more around Aug 1st.

BOBCAT
it is doing its best to keep the mice, rats, squirrels and rabbits away from your feeder, and
keep you occupied, and guessing. ;D

Oh, quit being silly everyone!!!   Anyone can see it's a jagcheelynx.  They're very common in NYC, Chicago and Los Angeles.  This one must be out of range.

Seriously, I doesn't look like any bobcat I've ever hunted.  Too long, too high, too big, wrong color, tail somewhat longer.  I think it is a hybrid, maybe his mom picked up some Jag or something somewhere.

If it is a bobcat, it is the tallest, lankiest one this boy has ever seen.  Maybe it is because ours have a lot more hair on them.
Keep both eyes open and make the first shot good.

I shot a huge female on a ADC depredation tag for a rancher back in 2002 in Central Nevada that was similar - very tall and lanky like this one.   She was all legs and fawn colored with no spots except subdued gray ones on the inside of the legs and along the belly.  She looked more like a gray ghost running through the sage brush when I tapped her at 2 AM by moonlight with the 17HMR.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Texas Bobcat, true and true.
