HOLD YOUR BREATH AND HOPE FOR THE BEST!!!
It might shoot and it might not.
Some like lead bullets and some like jacketed.
Some like both and some don't like any of them!
You never know.
I hope yours does good for you.
You will know tommorrow.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Nothing specific... standard shooting advice.
If bench resting I prefer to keep the front support as close to the hinge as I can. If you cannot hold your hand on the barrel its too hot to shoot.
Good luck,

Well just got back from range. I tried 4 different kinds of ammo Hornady leverution-- A merc 405grain--Buffalo Bore 440 grain and Load x 405 grain Jacketed hot loads. The hornady shot the best by far. The Amerc would dud every couple shots which it never did in my marlin GG. The buffalo borekicked the barrel open and hurt way to much to shoot more then 5 times. And the load x were not even close to the hornady. I think I found that this rifle likes hornady leverution the best and I will only shoot the buffalo bore if there is a loose elephant or grizzle in my neighborhood.

Matt, sounds like the Amerc ammo may have thinner rims which increases headspace specially if the rim cut is on the deep side like it is on my 45-70 SS Ultra Hunter.
Glad you found a good load tho, that factory ammo is spendy!!
