Shell Catchers
« on: August 17, 2008, 03:04:41 PM »
Do any of you use a shell catcher on your semi auto shotguns for shooting trap?  If so, which one?  I was looking at one, it is the T & S shell catcher.  Thanks.

A local stockmaker installed a wire into the barrel tang on my Rem. 1187, works great, once I got it bent just right. Just pick it out to go hunting.

I use a Beretta 391 for trap and have the T&S catcher for singles and a Carey deflector for doubles. Some of the old men get upset if you bounce a shell off of their gun.But I can understand as some of the guns are 10 grand or more.Trap is a very enjoyable game for me I hope you find  a fun time in it.
