gentlemen I just got a Marlin 3030 given to me I tried to use the sticky to find out when it was made with no luck can some one help me please thank you for your help D Crockett

You are going to have to help us a little here, like with the first few numbers or letters of the serial number.  And I had to remove your want to buy from the post because classified are not allowed in discussion forums here at GBO.  Put it in the classified forum and I am sure you will get response.

 My problem is dating a more recent Marlin.  Is there a site or a reference book that I can access to see what the date is??  The site being talked about looks like it only deals with older Marlins.
