Which Hi-Point to buy?
« on: August 21, 2008, 12:30:49 PM »
Which Hi -Point to buy? I want to buy one of these in the near future. I am going to get a consealed weapons permit also in the near future. I am a contractor and sometimes carry large sums of money. There have been times I have been in bad neighborhoods carrying a lot of money and wondered about being robbed. For the most part it would be a truck gun tucked into the center console. I also enjoy shooting a lot so I was thinking of the 9MM over the .45 ACP and .40 S&W. The reason being it would be cheaper to shoot. If I like the Hi-Point enough I may even buy another one for the bedroom for home defence purposes. So what do you guys think? Which caliber and why? What ammo for self defence. If I ever do end up shooting someone I want them to go down and stay down. Boy I sure hope that never has to happen. Dale

My wife has a C9 good little gun for the money. shoots all ball ammo well for target work. It stays loaded with hornady tap ammo for defense. only problem was with a aftermarket mag threw it away and got another factory one for a spare. I dont care for the larger framed guns but would be ok for just a truck gun.
