Drive around and knock on doors, do it before you want to hunt when scouting, not when you're out hunting, it's always worked for me when you don't show up in camos.  ;)

Sorry.....

I have been lucky. After moving back to Tennessee last year I have been invited to hunt with several coworkers. It is not the same as having a large tract of land to do what I want with, but it beats not hunting.

I have always had good luck just talking to people I work with and come in contact with about hunting.

I am still searching for the little old lady that owns hundreds of acres and doesn't let anyone but me hunt it and then wills it to me when she dies.

not sure on your area but if you have farm land  look for the biggest farm tractors in your area,as these will be farmers with the bigger tractors =more land and ask them. most farmers have deer ,raccoon etc damage to crops and they would be a good place to start.
