Hornady Presses
« on: August 22, 2008, 06:44:12 AM »
I purchased a Hornady single stage press awhile back and now am looking at stepping up to a progressive press. Will the dies that I have set for the single stage be correctly set for the new press or are they set up different. Both are the lock and load.

You will probably need to adjust the dies as the diffrent presses will have a diffrent head thickness so the setup will be the same , but you will just need to tweak the up / down till you get to the spot were you want as far as seating depth and crimp , if you need to crimp .

I really don't think that you will be able to just swap out he L&L bushings and have them set to load .

Thank you Stimpy. This was the answer I was looking for. It is what I expected but I had to hope.
