Hi SG!! I think the last one was scored by Mitchell in 2006, all we need is someone to volunteer to score the cards and it's on!  ;) ;) ;)

hi tim -

how've you been?

with a reasonable amount of time, and having the new and official rules, i could score a match, unless someone else wants to step up to the plate.

the last time i shot a match was with my 357 handi at 50' with lyman 158 (+-) grain keith style cast bullets. i had more fun tweaking the loads and shooting them than should be legally allowed!

Fair to middlin, how bout yerself?  ;)

I was wrong, Mitchell scored the last match, but it was in 2005!! Man, time flys when you're havin fun!! :D It's time we had another, don't ya think! They're traditionally in the spring, but if you or anyone wants to score, all we need is a cutoff date to have the cards in by, and an address to send them to and it's a done deal.

that's how we used to do it!

it's that simple. you shoot, send it in, then it get's scored and the results are posted a reasonable amount of time after the final postmark date.

We could add an iron sights class too, peep or open, we can do anything the scorer and membership desires,  more fun to have!

And I dunno about this donating a Handi, that would be contrary to my collecting desires!! :o ;D

I'm in for 2 or 3 Handis.

Do you guys draw a put an X or dot or something on your cards or put them behind another target?
I don't want to mess up the scoring with a bunch of sharpie marks.

Would there be any legalities for charging a dollar per card? ($1) I know that complicates things, but winner takes all for that division. Or maybe just put an extra postage stamp in the envelope. Then maybe you'd win $10 worth of stamps. It wouldn't pay your bills, but at least it would pay for mailing your bills.

I'm in.  This'll give me the excuse I've been looking for to load up some really accurate loads.  I also want to know about placing a dot or x on the card for an aiming point.

I'm not comfortable with the possible legal ramifications of charging and offering a cash prize. Kinda sounds more like a lottery or some such and that's not legal here in Bama the home of GBO.

I agree 1000%, Just for fun.  I hope I have my shootin' eye back in time for it.  I can't hit dirt with that cataract on my shootin' eye, but look out if the surgery gets me back 20 years of vision!!!!  I'm really frustrated right now because I'm wasting ammo trying to get 1/2 MOA out of my Handis, when the problem isn't in the rifle, it's in my cotton pickin' eye.
Keep both eyes open and make the first shot good.
