Kel-Tec replaced part.
« on: August 24, 2008, 11:39:46 AM »
Bought my P3AT used from a chap who either lost the ejector or "forgot" to replace it before selling me the pistol.  I called Kel-Tec and told them the sad story and they had a new ejector to me in three days.  Came in a small brown envelope with no mention of what I owe them for the part and postage.  Great customer service there Kel-Tek.  Put the ejector in the slot and the very rear of slide wouldn't go past the ejector when I attempted to reassemble the gun.  Found that I had to file (very gently file) the very top of the ejector and the outer side of it to get the slide to smoothly come into the fully assembled position.  Best part is that I was able to fire a full clip when trying out the gun for function and it extracted and ejected perfectly without me even knowing that the ejector was missing.  Great little gun for the money!!
Here it is with the holster that I carry it in.  Works for me!

Kel-Tec customer service is top notch.  I recently purchased a PF9 that had problems feeding rounds.  It would jam rounds and sometimes kick the mag out after each shot.  I contacted customer service and they paid for me to ship the pistol back to them, they replaced the mag release, ejector,  and a couple other things as well as re-testing the action of the gun.  It was then sent back to me and has worked perfectly since.  All free of charge!  That's the way to keep customers!

I have had Kel-tecs for about 7 years now, and their customer service is always good. Blaster, who made that holster? I am impressed and have been looking for something like that.

Hey fatoldfool, I tried everywhere to locate the maker of the "wallet" holster.  I did manage to locate an email address for the guy who sells them and if you'll contact Dave, he can put you on the right track.  Try:
dave@kansasccw.com.
Let us know if you have any luck with him.  Blaster

Why wouldn't that holster be legal?

If you may doubt the legality of the little pocket holster, I suggest you contact Dave at this address
