hey guys i just got a encore no. 7701 realtree forend it says its for 24 to 26 in. barrels the ? is will this work on a 28 in pro hunter barrel are the screw holes in the same spot will i have to sand the barrel groove out to fit the fatter barrels . i didnt care for the end of the pro hunter forend so i got the plain encore forend. now im looking for a barrel and im going to have it cut shorter maybe 22 in. if i find a prohunter fluted will this forend work

If it fits the 26" TC barrels then it will fit the 28" TC Pro Hunter barrels. They have the same screw spacing and barrel profile, they are just longer (and fluted, of course).
