It just gets better and better , as I said in my other post I had plans to raid my stepdad's lead stash to try out my new mold and pot , well I got over there and he said " Ya there is some down there , not sure how much but take what you can find . "
The search begins , his basement is kinda like a maze with all his fishing gear , well it took me about a 1/2 hour to find his stash , a little over 70 pounds of Plumbers lead cast into 2 pound ingots . once I got that all drug out to the truck he says "what you using to melt with ? "
I tell him a 5 pound Lee elect. pot, so he walks down to the basement and comes back with ( 2 ) old Lee 10 pound elect pots , he said he had enough sinkers and walleye made to last 5 lifetimes "so take these suckers home with you too "
I guess now I'm going to be a full time bullet caster too .
