Anyone here have any experience with this product?  Nobody has bit yet in the Glock forum.

Mainspring:  I've had a number of those and didn't like them.  Either they changed the feel of the grip, got in the way, or sliced up something in the process of drawing and firing.  One concern is with the 1911 and the grip safety.  The clip-draws I installed on my handguns didn't feel right and I wasn't comfortable with it.  Might just be me.

However, it beats a soft loop for accessing a pistol.  I think I would rather see a spring clip opening to the front attached to a belt loop to minimize bulk yet allow quick access without interfering with the feel of the grip.   Just my 2 cents worth.  Mikey.

Thanks for the input Mikey.  I just installed one on a Glock 22.  I'm kinda liking it so far.  It doesn't come anywhere near the grip, but I am a bit concerned for the upolstery in my truck.  Time will tell, I suppose.

never ever ever carry a gun  without a holster to cover the trigger period! it is almost stupid to do so! you are inviteing a accident to happen!

Guys,
If holsterless carry bothers you with a Glock, try a "Glock Block". It blocks rearward travel of the trigger and you just push it out with your trigger finger on the draw. It's about as safe as it gets! Good insurance in the event of a "disarm" as well!

Deputy,
How right you are on the training. Adding another element to the draw and presentation would require several hundred reps and ongoing pratice to incorporate the Glock Block into the equation. Guess that's why we had to go to duty arms without that pesky safety.

Deputy,
Am I missing something here on the XD? Looks to me like a Glock clone with a grip safety. I shot one back when they first came in-country as the "something 2000". I don't recall being particurally impressed.

Deputy,
Had the HS2000 been available in .45, I would have spent the $250 or so these things were going for. Guess they're available now in 9mm/40/357. Which chambering are you evaluating for your dept?

Good round in the 9mm. I still have some of the old black ones.
