Tikka 412
« on: August 25, 2008, 02:50:54 AM »
Hi All,

The local gunshop has a Tikka 412 combo just come in, rather sad really as thye don't know what to do with it, the Police brought it in as the owner has been sectioned under the mental health act. Really flipped out and a danger to himself as wella s others  :'(. Well the gun is a 12B over 5.6x50R magnum? and has a very nice scope fitted, a Schmidt & Bender or Zeiss, I forget exactly which now. No price as they have not recieved porper instructions as what to do with it as yet.

Hi Brithunter
is it a Tikka or Valmet?  Where are you located?  The systems sounds like a great find.

I was told Tikka but I will make further enquiries and see if I cannot examnine it off the rack next weekend. Cannot get over there before then as it's about a 30 mile drive. I am located on the Eastern coast of England Noth of The Wash. Price will determine if it's a find but I can see them having some difficulty selling it. Not sure if the .22 barrel makes it under the new rules about allowing there use on Muntjac and Chinese Water Deer, still not legal for Roe so of lilited use to local shooters hence a limited market.
