Model "C" 5 screw? S&W 2 inch .38
« on: August 25, 2008, 03:45:06 AM »
Picked up a .38 special. ctg. with a 2 inch barrel the other day. Someone told me, it was a 5 screw model C.
Can anyone help me out with the ID of this gun I tried to look it up in a gun values book, could not find it., approximate value at 85%.
Thanks

Does the serial number have a C prefix? You can measure the barrel from the front of the cylinder to the muzzle end. You don't give much info, here, but maybe a good clear picture or two will help?
