Given the difficulty in finding original Valmet 412 scope mounts and what I consider inferior design of the Tikka 512 mounts made by Sako I had been searching for another source. I found EAW (Ernst Apel) also makes a 412/512 mount. I have ordered 2 from New England Custom Gun, who is the only importer into the USA.
As soon as the mounts arrive I will post pictures and a brief review.
