Bianchi M12 holster and Glock 17
« on: August 31, 2008, 06:21:36 AM »
I have a Bianchi M12 holster that I use to carry my 92fs in. That pistol is gone and has been replaced with a G17.  Is it safe to carry a Glock in a standard issue M12?  I know they make a UM92 that has a special trigger guard lock in it but I don't want to buy a new holster if I don't have to.

If it fits well enough to retain it safely, and the trigger is protected I can't imagine why it wouldn't be safe. Maybe not the best fit tho :D

This one sure got a lot of replies. I'm new to the board but have been lurking and gathering all kinds of interesting info. Thanks to all who contribute.
I too agree with the vast majority on this holster. I have one and use it exclusively to cary my G19. I especially like the index finger release system. In my opinion it teaches safe draw cause it teaches you to keep your trigger finger off the trigger till it's supposed to be there.
