ok the barrel is an old cast iron 3 foot barrel .

The cannon was originally a swivel gun made primarily for shipboard use.  Idiots always saw off the original swivel mount, toss it, and mount it on bastard repro carriages like that one.  I've found very few swivel guns on their original mounts.
