My new 204
« on: September 02, 2008, 02:43:36 PM »
I bought my 204 barreled action back in the spring and just now got around to putting a stock on it, The stock is a bell and carlson tactical medalist, I also installed a timney trigger,  Wow i cant believe how light and crisp this trigger is. I probally wont shoot it untill i get a good scope for it which could be awile,  anyway, here is a pic of the gun

well, i couldnt wait any longer, I stole the scope from my 223 and mounted it on the 204, I picked up some factory hornady 32 grain v-max loads and went to the range this evening, this gun is a shooter!!! I have guns that shoot this good with handloads, but this is the best I ever shot with factory loads, this was shots 3 through 7 from the brand new gun, I am expecting big things once broke in.

5 shot group 100 yards

I would say that local Varmits have a problem.
