trigger work for Ruger #1

I just bought a Ruger #1 stainless Laminate in 7mm mag.It is a beautiful rifle with one exception.The trigger is set at about 7-8 lbs.Whats the best way to correct this.I would like it between 2-4 lbs.I live close to Houston Tx.Any help would be great.

Hi just in case you didnt see the other posting....order the Moyer trigger from Brownells.....made my new one almost as good as my older guns... it is set I believe to 2 1/2 #'s
