I was about to send in for new barrel but what is required to do if i buy used

i was about to send in for a 223 barrel for a handi but found this site now i may just try to find reasonable used but what is required as far as fitting it to my reciever?

Welcome! A good place to start for newbie's is reading the the FAQs and Help sticky, you'll find barrel fitting info there. ;)
