If Wasilla were wallowing in debt, how can they still provide essential city services with no (zero) property taxes for the last few years? Something's wrong with Ms. Kilkenny's letter. Sarah got a miniscule 2 1/2% sales tax passed and was able to eliminate city property taxes. That's a great trade off in my book. The borough still sticks it to property owners, but that's a different story. There is no city tax.
Maybe Ms. Kilkenny doesn't own any land or a home or small business in Wasilla. Isn't it typical for liberals to always be trying to take more money from other people to fund their hare-brained schemes, but they scream bloody murder when they have to actually pay for anything themselves.
