Walnut Encore Stock Questions
«
on:
August 01, 2003, 12:15:19 PM »
I was wondering how these stock hold up with magnum recoil
of the larger rifle and 12 gauge shotgun calibers.
Has anyone experienced cracked stocks?
I like the look of the walnut but I fear breakage......wood quality
not being what it is these days. Is TC walnut top quality?
Thanks

It is not a problem - I have used the same stock for .308 and .45/70 and have never had a problem. It is comforting to know that TC stands behind their products.

I will be ordering my 12 gauge Encore slug gun on Monday.
I really appreciate this forum and hope my questions are not too
"green" . I'm new to this type of firearm and appreciate any and all
comments. I'll be asking many, I'm sure.

We're all in this together - anything we can do to help someone get started, just ask....
