I was talking to Gary D/W last night about a holster that I acquired for my D.W 715-2, 4" V.H. that I didn't know existed.
Gary thought it would be nice if I could start this thread and include some pictures.
I have owned a number of Dan Wesson pistols since they started making the 715-2 model and I used my 715-2's, Model 40, .357 Super Mag. and various other models and calibers when I was shooting steel with IHMSA back in the 80's and I have never seen one of these or knew they were ever made.
I happened on this one by accident and I'm glad I did.
It is new and looks like my pistol was the only one that has ever been in it, the fit is perfect with the 4" V.H. bbl.
I left the pics a little dark to be able to read the markings.
I would appreciate any feedback on the history of these holsters if anyone has any or has ever heard of their existence.
If I need to post more pics let me know, I want to share this info with all the forum members.
Regards,
Ed.
