So we are on a cruise ship back from the ST.Martin island. Rough seas between Hannah and Ike and the cruise ship gets the sos from USCG DIVERT 3 souls are in need of rescue. Divert we do. As we aarrive a c-130 is circling the overturned vessel, smoke is coming from the flare. We are all on the foredeck watching this transpire. We get within a mile or 2 and here comes the USCG. Down goes the basket up comes a soul. This happens 3 times, then off the helicopter goes. No news camera, no nothing just another day at USCG Puerto Rico. 4 souls were on that boat, only 3 went home. The reason for this post is to thank all our service men and woman in all branches of service. It is so easy to forget all these poeple and what they do for everybody the world over, not just us. Selfless sacrifice. From the sands in Iraq to the waters of the carribean. GOD BLESS YOU ALL EACH AND EVERY ONE THANK YOU.
