NAP Thunderhead help
« on: September 09, 2008, 03:21:10 PM »
I bought some Nap thunderheads today....I decided to put one together to test it out...At 20 yards it hit about 3 inches higher than my field points....I can live with that....The real problem was at 40 yards....It flew straight until about 10 yards before the target it made a hard hook to the right and i lost my arrow....what can i do to correct this???

Stump,

Stuff like this is why I have 3 sheets of plywood behind my target. (3) 4x8x3/8 sheets works well for a back stop. When I first got back into bows I was kinda erratic...okay I couldn't shoot for crap and didnt wanna kill anybody in the neighborhood.
A gust of wind(crossing) between you and the target could cause this too.
