Thanks for all the good wishes, nothing new to report yet, I kinda got my BD gifts early with the 6.5x55 and the barrels I sent in for rechambering to 6mm Improved, those should be back before too long tho. :)

Thanks!! Glad to see you back in action again, Marv!!!  ;D I'm building my wife a new PC later today as a matter of fact as soon as UPS gets the mini-ITX parts to me from Newegg. She wanted a laptop at first, but after playing with one at a store, she decided she likes a real keyboard, mouse and in particular a nice screen, but wanted something that didn't take up a lot of room in her "Hen" house, the mini-ITX fills the bill for less than a laptop.......so for my B'day, she gets a new PC and monitor!! ???

Both are H&R Ultras, the 6mm AI is a rechamber from a 243 thumbhole Ultra, the 6.5 is a stub project from a 300WSM donor barrel underlug and a Shilen match blank.

Tim I am not familiar with the 6MM AI. Are the ballistics that much better than the 243? I would think that if it was able to be rechambered from a 243 then the case must be larger than the 243. Thanks Dale
