barnes bullets refined post
« on: September 10, 2008, 10:54:56 PM »
I originally asked about switching copper bullets in place of jacketed ones in my reloading manual. Thanks for the replies I received. I do not have a Barnes manual yet. Went to their website and could only find loads for the 357 magnum. Would anyone have any loads for the 357 Maximum using Barnes 140 grain X bullet. I have loads using 180 jacketed that shoot very well out of a 20" barrel Encore. Was looking for a Barnes bullet load, an Indiana deer load. I have 3 powders at present, AA5744, IMR4227, H110. Thanks very much for your replies.

As was suggested in the other thread, contact Barnes and ask for data, they may have some that isn't published.  I wanted data for 405 Winchester, emailed Ty and he sent it to me the same day.  ;)
