Is Obama getting ready to "throw Biden under the bus" ?
« on: September 11, 2008, 04:12:59 AM »
With his campaign off balance due to the enormous impact of Sarah Palin..looks like BHO is getting ready to
ditch Biden. Obama has had problems lately with his own poorly chosen statements..and Biden has a history of just that !
Obama may be thinking Hillary will help his ticket by drawing back some of the women's vote, and it may well do that .
Of course, then some of the moderates will be lost, simply because they can't stand Hillary..
Hillary on board will likely do some damage to his "change" message..
If he does anything along those lines, look for it to be done in the next two weeks..before the first prez debate..

Maybe today's lunch with Bill was to test the idea or to gauge the possibility.

In any case, I would see her saying "No"  She would forever be known as the second choice for the second spot.  It wouldn't surprise me if she is looking for Osama to lose and open the door for her in 2012.  There's little advantage for her to be the VP at this stage, IMO.

I agree with TribReady, it would not be good for him to flip flop on the vp choice now. As far as damage to his "change'' message, he already did that by picking Biden !!

I personally think it would be a grossly STUPID move on her part to accept the offer should it be made. I also think it would be a GROSSLY STUPID move on Obama's part since he made such an issue of all the thought that went into picking Biden. Should he now dump him so soon after that long evolved selection process he claims he went thru to pick him it would make everything he says look like a joke. Of course to liberals such things are their stock in trade so who knows how much it might hurt him. Little if at all among them but those non liberals who are swinging his way it might really hurt with them.

HINT: The VP doesn't reside in the White House so being VP to a young man like him puts her no closer to the White House unless you figure she plans to kill him off to get there. In fact him losing is about the best hope she has of getting there altho I think her chances have passed regardless.

I just hope Biden keeps a tight grip on Barrak Hussien Obama's hand if he does this and takes him with him. I myself have no sorrow what so ever for these contemptous scumbags, or anyone that supports them.

It would be a very stupid move on his part to offer her the job after he has already picked Bidden. It would just show he can't make up his mind and people would really wonder if they want a guy that can't make up his mind in the White House. Dale

The Dems are in a panic mode right now & will do anything to get elected, but that is a very risky thing to do. I am hearing some of this & with Biden saying in a rally that Butch would have been a better choice &
with the Obama/Slick 50 meeting it has made some wonder. But I just don't think making the pick in an afterthought would yield the desired result.

If the Dems can dig up enough dirt on Sarah so that McC would have to replace her, either politically of morally, then Obama could dump Biden in favor of Billary while the public is busy.  But it would have to appear to be fair and reasonable in the public eye.

Biden had a Brain Tumor removed in the past, and if the Dems want to make enough Hay about that fact in favor of possibly winning with Billary, then it will be done.

Biden is safe as long as Sarah is in.   For Obama to replace Biden at this point for no apparent reason would be absolutley STUPID, and an event that would throw the election to McC for sure.

For my part, I believe there should be an investigation as to whether Obama is a bonafide Natural Born Citizen.  He was born in Kenya, and from what I hear he and his Mother didn't fall under the law at the time regarding U.S. citizenship.

Not until much later was the law changed, and he would be a U.S. citizen now under the same circumstances at birth.  But that wasn't the law when he was born.

One thing sure..If Sarah can survive the fine-tooth-comb investigation and uterine/ proctology exam the Democrat's hired guns are
giving her, she must be a remarkable person..and every voter should run...not walk, to vote for her !

My guess is that something will be found on Sarah, even if the media and the Dumbycrats have to make it up.  And when they do find, or make up something, it will be numero uno on the news as long as they can make it last.  So I agree with what has already been said about Mrs. Palin; if she comes through this all in one piece, she might possibly be Super Woman.

Whatever they want to think up. Their next of kin, the Communist part used to do the same, of course in their case I don't mean "free" elections if you choose to call it that, but smears/lies whenever it met the needs of the Party. They will drop a bomb shortly before the election, when they think Palin will not have time to adaquately respond. It is the same old stuff, remember how they brought the "news" about Bush with his DUI just before the election. You can count on it. I don't call them Socialist Demoncraps for nothing!

LATEST NEWS IS THE SO-CALLED TROOPER GATE DETAILS ARE SUPPOSED TO DROP ONE WEEK BEFORE THE ELECTION!  The Dems have alot of time & Soros money on their hands!  ::)
