If what little mind I have left I'am pertty sure I was in Hai-phong harbour during this time. Was on a Mine-Sweeper clearing the harbour in a POW release deal between the U.S and n. vietnam. If my being there helped in his release I am glad to have helped.

At the time it was classified but it is now de-classified and public information. The mines were set to deactivate before we ever got there. There was only one mine that exploded the whole time I was there, and it was by a fluke that it went off.

I can't say I agree with a lot of his politics, but you can't deny his heroism.
