Newby question.
I am getting ready to start loading for my .32H&R mag, and notice that Hodgdon lists Lil'gun loadings for various jacketed bullets, but not for cast/lead bullets. I've noticed the same in .41mag, where 110 and 296 are also not listed for lead bullets, until you get to 245 gn lswc (but still not Lil gun). The 250+ gn gc's will take lil gun, 110 and 296.
Why is this?
Should I start with another powder for these calibers, such as Titegroup or Trailboss? I'd like to start with a cast bullet load to make my practice more affordable, and already bought some (100 gn 32s and 215 gn 41s).
Thanks.
