While you're at it you might want to say one for the entire nation as it seems the oil companies have decided to use this storm as a pretext for an oil/gas shortage and are scalping the prices on gas to astronomical levels. By Monday gas is expected to be over $5 a gallon every where. I doubt we'll ever see $4 a gallon again after this. As you know once they manage to get the price up they are not prone to drop it again.

This has nothing to do with the cost to them it's merely a price gouge brought on by them shutting down the refineries all along the coast something they've never done before even tho this storm seems a rather mild one by comparison to others. From what I read last night it's likely to be only a cat two at land fall.

If anyone thinks that gas is high now, just imagine what it would be if the government was running the show.

I agree prayers are needed for those affected by the storm and also for the country.
I think this storm and the resulting gas prices it "caused" show just how vulnerable our country is right now.  I thnk we're at a cross roads of sorts and the path of the country will go one of two ways.  My fear is that we're headed for the downhill path.  Something big is coming soon IMO.
Again, best thing we can do is pray.
