Constitution Party
« on: September 15, 2008, 09:51:12 AM »
The Constitution Party The Democrats and Republicans have squandered the Founders' legacy of liberty and justice under the Constitution. Countless government officials in the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government ignore their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

Join the Constitution Party in its work to restore our government to its Constitutional limits and our law to its Biblical foundations

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:

1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4. Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5. Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6. States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the state and local jurisdictions;
7. American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances

It's for real & my favorite party. I see no logic in spending time with it this year, I support Gov. Palin & Obama/Biden must be stopped!

I think they are just what we need, but most U.S. folks lack the guts reform our government to it's original state.  The day is fast coming when our current system will fail completely.  Only then will the gutless stand and fight for change.

I was told that if you just had 300 people in a congressional district that would work every day, door to door, placing phone calls, etc.  They could put in whoever they supported in congress.  They said it takes workers on the ground, not just money to advertise, to get people to vote, and convince them to change government.  Maybe this is what community organizers do.  The blacks, gays, elitist liberals, etc, are not that many in this country, but they have an overwhelming power within the democratic party.  Blacks are 13% of the US population, gays are only 1-3%, liberal elitists such as college professors, etc, are only maybe 10%.  But they can sway 40% of the population at any given time.  If conservatives and christians were only so organized, they could easily sway 60% of the population.  Evangelical christians hold about 20% of the US population, small business owners about 20%.  Surely these two groups can get another 20% and control the election.  But getting them to work for it is another problem.  Most of these good people have to work, have families, and don't have time to do the right thing.

I always vote for any constitution party candidates I see on the ballot at election time. I love what the party stands for, and know that their candidates have a right world view.

Never heard of the constitution party, reckon that shows how hard they work to be known. Any 3rd party vote is wasted at this late date. Mccain is the ONLY chance we have to beat osama. Any vote for any but Mccain helps osama, period. POWDERMAN.  ??? ???

Third party votes in this election will be like throwing the baby out with the bath water. I'm not saying they would not make better choices, but they have no chance at winning. Now is damage control time.Third party candidates and voters need to get in this fight or get back with the old women and children.

MATT. Mccain was not my 1st choice, or even my 2nd or 3rd, but the fact is that either Mccain or osama WILL be the next president of the United States of America. I detest his position on illegals and his stance on gun rights is not the best in the world, but the party he represents has a long standing pro gun record, just the opposite of the dumcraps. He's pro life, osama is pro death for babies. Mccain is against gay marriage, osama all for it. The  Bible calls homosexuality an abomination in Gods eyes. The choice is pretty clear to me. One or the other WILL be our next potus, nothing will change that, unless one of them dies of course. Since everybody knows that Mccain is our ONLY chance to beat osama, they should also know that ALL 3rd party votes are votes that Mccain does not get, thereby aiding only osama. Morality counts a lot for me. The dumcraps talk about family values, but are all for homosexuality and the killing of babies at will, no morals or family values there. Mccain is all we have. I'd love to see a 3rd party next election, not one that pops in towards the end of the campaign, but starts when the others do and is serious about it, not just to stir the pot and divide America even further. I'd of voted for Perot before he dropped out, he was well ahead of both of the others at that point. Hope that answers your question. POWDERMAN.   ;D ;D

I'm almost to the point that I think we would be better off getting the most liberal, anti-gun, socialist candidate in there that we can. Every four years we pick the lesser of two evils and the choices gradually lean more to the left each time. Its similar to the concept of how to boil a frog. You don't throw him into a boiling pot, you put him in cool water and let the water slowly heat up. The heat is slowly being turned up each election cycle and most folks go about their lives without noticing. IMO, about the only thing anymore that will wake this country up is to get the worst possible candidate elected. Someone who will start pushing laws and policies that the majority of this country will not support.

I gotta admit PAB has a point.
Try to imagine where we'd be today if Kerry had won in 04, or Gore in 2000.  Gore and Kerry were 2 of the biggest idiots I've ever had the misfortune to gaze upon,  and yet I can not imagine how we'd be much worse than where we find ourselves today.  At least Gore or Kerry would have turned up the heat too fast.  We might have had a 1994 style Republican land slide victory in the house and senate in 2002 and 2006.  Not that it would have done much good.
People, we are hearing the sound of one giant flush, and that is the sound of our country going down the toilet.

I disagree Pat.  I'm sick of voting for people that I do not agree with.  Voting 3rd party is not throwing your vote away.  It is doing your duty as a U.S. citizen in voting for whom you believe is best suited for the job.  Be it 3rd party or write in.  Its damage control time?  Who's going to control it?  Obama?  McCain?  I laugh at this years election...sadly I laugh... So I'm voting 3rd party and I will feel as though my vote counts just as much as someone who has 2 party tunnel vision.  People who vote Democrat b/c their daddy voted dem, or people who vote Republican because thier daddy's daddy and his daddy voted republican make me giggle in pity for them...
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

I must remind everyone that it wasn't the Republican Party that selected John McGore; it was the voters.  For that matter, it wasn't the Dumbycrat Party who selected Osama; again, it was the voters in the primaries.

How are the candidates selected in third parties?  My guess is that if the two major parties selected their candidates the same way, we might be looking at a very different election.  Anyway, most of us would probably not like the choices that would come from that process either and would feel like we the voters had been left out in favor of the good old boys and girls of the party insiders.

Our version of democracy is what it is and I don't see it changing any time soon.  That said, John McGore has by accident, wisdom, or an act of providence given us an opportunity to elect a person who I and a lot of other people can truly get excited about.  Sarah Palin is as close to being a dream candidate as we've had--ever.  I almost shudder when I think about what Washington will do to her if she gets elected, but that is the risk that we and she must endure to get someone who is real as a leader.

I'm sorry, but in my opinion restoring this country back to its roots and getting back on an upward path is what is most important period.  With Obama in charge that will never happen, so "crushing" him is important, but should not take president over what this country needs.  As wonderful as Mrs. Palin is she is not the Presidential Candidate.  A 3rd party vote is only a waste if everyone votes the main 2.  In reality if everyone wanting real change in America would vote 3rd party we would see a 3rd party President this term.  It is a shame that people are so sheeple that they don't believe they really have the power to make a difference.  No wonder the country is turning to chit, no one cares enough to do the right thing.  They pick their lesser of two evil candidate just like our puppeteers want us to do and go on like all is well and good.  Well all is not well and good, it is quiet the opposite.  Just go on about your lives thinking you have done all you can do.  In the mean time our country is going to hell in a hand basket.  Oh well we did our part.

I don't disagree with you, I to am sick of the voting the lesser of two evils. I  vote third party quite a lot,but I'm not tied to any one party.  Reality says that in order for them to be what is best for the job, they first have to be in a position to win. There are a train load of people out there that would be better suited for the job, but they ain't going to get a whiff of the winner's circle.  The damage control, we are going to have a wreck there is no stopping that. How will our vote effect the end result? How high of a casualty list are we willing to accept? We could just turn our heads and call it duty or say that we are making a statement. But remember soldiers on both sides are doing their duty and an obituary is a statement also.

"What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms."

All you voting third party should just stay home, save gas, results will be the same. You will be the ones to give osama his win, you will be responsible for not supporting the ONLY person that can beat osama. Shame on ya. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Shame on you for thinking that if enough people did the right thing it wouldn't help.  3rd party votes are only a waste because of backwards logic most people use.  McCain is only the only person you see that can beat Obama because people are to scared to vote for the canidate they agree with b/c that canidate can't win.  If everyone would get their head out of the clouds and vote for who they agree with on the issues and not on who they think has a chance of winning, then our democracy might be restored a real democratic process.
