September 20, Good morning Montana

Well fall is in the air as the 22nd slowly approaches, of course this scream hunting all over it.  I'm glad our gas prices seem to still be dropping as Unleaded Reg is now $3.53  Right now bowhunting is in full swing, which I have to of course just sit back this year on, but as Black Bear season opened as well, that allows for rifle, shotgun,  muzzleloader or handgun hunting for the Black Bear.

You all have a great day, keep the coffee hot and stay safe.

Good Morning Montanan, good morning everyone else! It is nice to be back home in Montana.  Beautiful morning in the mid 50'd right now.  Suppose to go in to the 80's today. It's a bit hazy right now. Must be a fire upwind.

Waiting for me when I got home was a barrel for my 870.  I have a 870 that I bought years ago.  It's a 2 3/4 chamber and had a plain 30 inch barrel.  Years ago I used the barrel to to test and develop muzzle brakes for shotguns. They worksed as long as you wanted cylinder bore. Since then I  have been looking for a 26 inch VR barrel with a 2 3/4 chamber. Lot's of 3 inch barrels, but not many 2 3/4 barrels. Found one on gunbroker last week. Hopefully I will test it out tomorrow on the huns!

The cheapest I've seen gas down here so far is $3.979 and on TV last night they were still talking about stations out of gas and not sure just when they'd have it but seemed to think within a week or so supplies would be back to normal. Since oil prices are down so should gas prices but they aren't.

Sounds great out there, compared to here in Ohio, Wife and I are determined to move to MT, we really don't a 1# area picked out, we have been planning for 2 years and it is getting closer, we need a place with nursing jobs and place to keep a couple horses. Would be willing to rent for a while till our place sells or we find the right place. If anyone wants to holler back I'll listen.

Thanks,
TOM

I suggest you just take a trip out here and look around.  Check with the professional associations about nursing jobs.  Get you boots on the ground and see what is here and what appeals to you.
